Garrett Umbarger, Founder & Owner Operator of pristine landscaping Services has always had a passion for landscaping and working in the great outdoors. As a young man, while going to school Garrett worked with different reputable lawn and landscaping companies which gained him the experience he needed to venture out on his own.
At the age of 21, Garrett started Pristine Landscaping Services back in 2012.
Since then, he has continually developed his skill set and knowledge while both installing and maintaining beautiful landscapes for clients throughout Kelowna BC and surrounding areas.
We are unique in that we mainly run an owner operated crew of about 4 or 5 employees. We take all of our combined experience and work together to create a beautiful end result - your new or updated landscape. We have chosen to stay a relatively small company to ensure a more personable and favorable end result for our clients.

Landscape Installation
We offer complete landscape installations
This may be just a simple few sections of lawn with a couple garden beds or a more extravagant landscape incorporating retaining walls, paving stone patios, Walk ways, fire pits, and more! Every Landscape construction project that we take on is carefully analyzed. We will go over with you every option before any final decisions are made and money is spent. Working with you from start to finish, we can ensure your ideas combined with our knowledge and experience provides you with the beautiful landscape that you desire.
Landscape Maintenance
We have the equipment, man power and knowledge to look after large landscaped areas!
We specialize in offering complete grounds maintenance services for commercial, estate type properties, and strata townhomes and condos. The benefit of using us for the complete maintenance of your site includes only having to deal with one contractor for all your landscaping needs saving you time and energy.
Retaining Walls
A specialty of ours is installing modular block retaining walls that can be incorporated into a variety of different landscapes
We use 3/4 inch angular free draining stone that consists of granite or limestone. We prefer to use between 18 - 24 inches of drainage rock behind the wall and a 6 – 8 inch compacted level base as added security to ensure our walls longevity for many years to come.
Paving Stones
Adding concrete paving stones to your landscape adds great character and value.
The possibilities are endless with color scheme, style of pavers and shape of desired surface. We will work with you to design beautiful and functional paved surface areas for patios, walkways and driveways. We take great care to ensure both the proper material and depth of crushed base is used and compacted to create a solid smooth surface for many years to come.
